The Friendship Home is more than just health care. Our Activity Department strives to provide an experience, where residents can find purpose and meaning in the activities they choose to participate in. Never forget, “If you have a pulse, you have a purpose!” We offer scheduled activities as well as individually focused one to one activities. We are continually working on incorporating a variety of new and exciting activities to our activity program.

National Skilled Nursing Care Week 2024
This year’s theme was “Radiant Memories” a tribute to the golden age of radio. This year also marks 65 years in business!! During the week we celebrated by dressing up in 1950’s, 40's, 30's, and 20's attire. We displayed old photos and newspaper articles from years at the Home, had cupcakes and made flower arrangements with our local flower shop! We also had morning coffee with “Fireside Chat” and Kami Rasmussen brought in a vintage radio. In the afternoon, staff joined residents for Buddy Bingo! All employees received a certificate for a free lunch from Master Griller! The food truck was also available for our amazing community. Residents enjoyed nostalgic desserts brought in by staff and looked through old pictures of the Home. To end the week, we had in an adorable little calf and painted pictures of cows!!!
