Fun at the Friendship Home

Though I have wrinkles on my face….my heart will forever be young!

The Friendship Home is more than just health care. Our Activity Department strives to provide an experience, where residents can find purpose and meaning in the activities they choose to participate in. Never forget, “If you have a pulse, you have a purpose!” We offer scheduled activities as well as individually focused one to one  activities. We are continually working on incorporating a variety of new and exciting activities to our activity program.

Yesterday was an incredible day! A HUGE thank you to the Audubon Lions Club for their generous monetary donation, which allowed us to create a truly special experience for our residents. We treated everyone to a delicious filet mignon lunch, complete with baked potatoes, a fresh spring salad, and a delightful dessert. To top it all off, we had a fantastic painting class with the talented Sarah Hansen, where we painted beautiful flowers to celebrate the first day of spring! The smiles and joy were priceless. We're so grateful for the community support and to our amazing staff that makes days like this possible!
