Our Intermediate Care Facility offers top-quality nursing home care, with each resident's care plan personalized to his or her unique needs. All medical and personal needs are promptly met, and residents are able to enjoy planned activities and well-balanced meals in the comfort of familiar surroundings and friends.
Memory and Dementia Support
Nothing is more difficult than seeing a loved one begin to have problems with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. At the Friendship Home, we offer a special unit where individuals benefit from a structured, personal environment. Family members feel comforted in knowing their loved one is safe and taken care of, while still given opportunities for personalized activities. The area is locked and secured to eliminate worries of “wandering.”
Skilled Care
After a fall or a hospital stay, individuals may need additional care—even though not ready to make a permanent move. The Friendship Home offers skilled care rooms for individuals who qualify through Medicare. Physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy are all provided on site. And, individuals can rest assured they will have access to wonderful nursing care, socialization with friends, freshly prepared meals and scheduled activities, if they so choose.
Hospice Care
The Friendship Home is very sensitive to end-of-life care. We work with a variety of hospice agencies that provide excellent care and services for this critical time. Because family members are such an integral part of our “family,” we will work to help you through the grieving process as much as possible and ensure that a care plan is in place that keeps everyone comforted.
